Lot’s of racing in Indy this weekend that is not at 16th and Georgetown

Have a group of friends and want to see who has quickest car?  Want to see if the new parts you purchased help shave a hundredth off your dragster?  Whether you are a seasoned racer or love the thrill of speed, the Wild Wednesday events are for you!  This Wednesday Lucas Oil Raceway will once again host this series of events that are opened to area street legal racers and our slick tire racers.  Both will be able to take to the track in a legal, controlled and fun environment.  Gates open at 5 p. m. with racing starting at 5:30 p. m.  Cost is $20 to race and $5 for spectators.  For a list of rules go, here.

The USAC Silver Crown Series returns to Lucas Oil Raceway on Saturday night for the running of the USAC Hall of Fame Classic presented by eBay Motors. Gates open at 5 p.m., tickets are only $25 for adults and children 12 and under are free with paid adults. A full schedule of events can be found, HERE.

The Summit Racing Equipment Racing Series takes to the drag strip on Sunday for a day of points paying bracket racing. Gates open at 8 a.m., racing starts at 10 a.m. and eliminations start at Noon. All racers should enter Gate 8 and parking will be on the Westside of the track. More information on the program can be found, HERE.
