The Class 6A – Sectional 5 championship is on the line tonight as the Avon Orioles look to capture their first sectional title since 2010 when they welcome back the Ben Davis Giants to Hendricks Regional Health Stadium at Avon High School tonight. The race for the Hoosier Crossroads Conference championship became a bit more crowded last week after the Avon Orioles knocked off conference leading Fishers 36-26. The victory also gave the Orioles control of their own destiny for the prestigious HCC title as Avon joined three other conference rivals with only one loss in conference play.
